International experience that supports the leadership of the Best of Fashion Awards

During two editions of Milan Fashion Week within the official calendar, the Co-Founder and Executive Director of the Best of Fashion Awards Gislaine Balzano  played an active strategic and operational role.

In September 2023, she participated as a guest of honor at more than 10 official runway shows, gaining direct insight into the technical standards, organizational structures, and operational dynamics of major international productions. This immersion provided strategic perspective and a deep understanding of the criteria upheld by the world’s leading fashion weeks.

In February 2024, she returned to Milan Fashion Week as part of a large-scale production involving multiple participating brands. The event welcomed approximately 400 in-person guests, received specialized media coverage, and mobilized a technical team of nearly 100 professionals across production, backstage, beauty, and audiovisual departments.

On this occasion, she served as Executive Director for one of the participating brands and contributed strategically to the overall organization of the event, coordinating runway flow, team integration, and technical alignment within a highly complex international setting.

This involvement reflects concrete experience in both strategic observation and operational leadership within one of the most influential capitals of the fashion industry.

For the Best of Fashion Awards, this experience represents more than international presence it provides a technical foundation, global vision, and proven executive capability within high-level fashion weeks.
